Google is updating Browse Console with a feature that simplifies listing products in the Google Search shopping tab.

Google is making it easier for ecommerce stores to get their items showcased in the shopping tab in search results. An update to Google Browse Console makes it possible to list products in the shopping tab without submitting a product feed or re-verifying your

website. Now, you can get products noted in a few clicks using Search

Console. Here’s how to do it. Listing Products In The Shopping Tab Via Google Browse Console Google is rolling out a new function in Browse Console for websites making use of product

structured data. A brand-new navigation item in Browse Console titled Shopping tab listings will take you to the function where you can connect a Merchant Center account.

you can bypass a number of steps, such as verifying ownership of your site and sending an item feed. After linking your Merchant Center account to Search Console, all you have to do is keep your structured information as much as date to get items listed quickly. Upgraded Guidance On Item Structured Data On the topic of item structured data, it’s worth revisiting the upgraded guidance Google released this past July. If you sell several variations of a product, and they each have a dedicated webpage, it’s a good idea to use distinct structured data for all items.
